North Creek is hitting the Christian music scene with solid lyrics and a groovy sound. With a unique blend of rock, pop and praise, and years of experience flowing from all four members, North Creek offers a punchy, upbeat style in original lyrics and music. North Creek''s self-titled debut album offers listeners a fresh mix of music.
Comprised of former members of bands who have opened for such powerhouses as Third Day, Steven Curtis Chapman, and John Schltt from PETRA, North Creek is on the verge of something special. Having completed their full-length, self-titled CD, the group is currently garnering dates around the southeast.
It was a pleasure to share the stage in 2003 with nationally known artists: The Newsboys, Superchic[k], Audio Adrenaline, Reliant K, and Rachael Lampa! Events in 2003 included: Playing festivals and conferences in Illinois, Virginia, Georgia, Tenessee, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Kansas City and Ohio, to name a few!! North Creek is currently working on their first Praise and Worship album, due out in February. Also, in the summer of 2004, North Creek will begin working with long time friend, and multi-Dove award winning producer Travis Wyrick!
The band''s first hit, Only, has seen a substantial amount of air play and is pulling in fans of all ages. Inspired by an intimate conversation with God, the song embraces the wonder of His miracles, big and small, and reminds fans that the simplest details sometimes can have the most impact on one''s life.
"It really tells a lot about the way the Lord communicates with us everyday" said North Creek drummer Brian Keith.
