A Discouaging Word is the first full legnth CD from poprockrapcountryfolk outfit, Mr. Opporknockity. At the time, members of the band included Doug Gholson and Troy Roark on guitars and vocals, Mark Sanders on drums and Tom Irwin on Bass. The songs are heavy on the acoustic side, with tons of harmonies, and great, quirky, yet compelling lyrics.

Mr. O spent 24 hours recording this project. An amazingly short period for such a great album!
