The Native American jars, also called ollas, for which Paul Hacker derives his inspiration, grew from pottery made between 200 BC to 250 AD in one of four states in western Mexico: Colimas, Jalisco, Niyarite, and Michircan. The pottery, bowls, jars, etc...are beautifully made. Paul Hacker's renditions of these ollas allow for an affordable and high quality alternative to these ancient pots.
