After a longer-than-planned hiatus since their 2002 debut album (Just Because), Cynthia Turner & Heartspeak are finally back with their sophomore cd, Til God Says So. This contemporary gospel project includes 12 original cuts written by group leader, Cynthia Turner, and husband, Stellar-nominated jazz guitarist Kevin Turner. It features guest appearances from such gifted musicians as Melonie Daniels(lead vocals), Sekou Bunch (bass), Lloyd Barry (horns), Ralph Lofton(organ), Mike Logan (keyboards), Tramaine Davis (piano), and a cadre of phenomenal drummers (Dennis Chambers, Oscar Seaton, Michael Weatherspoon, and Reggie Jackson). Kevin Turner serves again as producer.
