The year 1992 saw the Allstonians begin in Nigel Knucklehad''s living room. His brother, Ken or King K, was there recruiting musicans and opening beers. The Boston ska scene had lost a lot of ska bands recently, including King K & Nigel''s original band "Ska''d for Life", and they thought to start another band but more along the lines of the traditional Jamaican sound...hence were born, The Allstonians. Over 70 musicians have wandered in and out of the Allstonians and many have gone on to form or influence amny other ska bands. Tommy McCook, Lloyd Knibb, Rolando Alfonso and Lord Tanamo have all performed with the band. Here it is, 16 years later and they are still playing and recording. Try them out.
