Details:
This (set of) album(s) dives into the Folk / bar elements of piano with electronic/gothic elements embraced in the vocals. The focus is on the inward struggle of understanding who we are using pop culture, philosophy, physics and metaphysics, and all the hodgy podgy fiddle-de-dink that we encounter as we travel our own Hoober-Bloob Highway
The painting used as the backdrop is a painting done by my 2 year old son.
Peace to you, and De Colores to all

--DANDELIONS IN BLOOM--
Hey Mr. Ramapithicus, Come and have a drink with us
And let us discuss, The questions of the mind
Can all that we be, Simply existential anomalies
Does life sing just a Filler song, Between the primordial and the grave
As I walk down Mulberry St. Looking at all the people I meet
Searching for dandelions in Bloom
Like the tantric senses that stir my thoughts,
Are our dreams nothing more than chemically wrought
And our breath nothing more than Empirical dust in June
Hey Mr. Ramapithicus, Come and join us on the bus
As we travel to what once was, In relative time
Is 18 billion years, Long enough to create our hope, our fears, our dreams
Can the quantum matrix hold, The answer for the longing of our soul
As I walk down Mulberry St., Looking at all the people I meet
Searching to find their tune
Like the supernova dust that has formed my eyes, Has The Maker woven a beautiful surprise
To cloak it inside a esoterical cocoon
So, Mr. Ramapithicus come play your tune, For you know that all too soon
The earth will call us all into her womb
But within this tailor-made tapestry, Is there a greater singularity
That even tomorrow can never consume
--DARK AND STORMY NIGHT--
It was a Dark and Stormy night
Against an old grand piano
The maestro played a serenade
To sooth the aching soul
Happiness Is a Sad Song
That echoes through the halls
But the harmony softly reminds us
That we are not alone
I never promised you an apple orchard
But all my love I give to you
It was a dark and stormy night
In an old abandon field
The vulture lay eyeing all
Awaiting for the kill
For the life that blankets over us
Treaties out our days
And the pangs of defeat that comfort us
Guide us on our way
We never promised you an apple orchard
But all our love We give to you
It was a dark and stormy night
When the young preacher took the stage
To tell the ancient story of the child and the sage
The journey we partake is unique in all accord
But the grace that dwells among us can rest the bitter sword
He never promised you an apple orchard
But all his love he gives to you
--LAND OF LOST BALLOONS--
On a whim, he sails his ship
to the little strip he wants had known
As she sings in the band, he writes in the sand,
she is where I call home
Have you ever taken a trip
to the land of lost balloons
As they sail over the ocean, they stopped in Goshen,
to find the ruby shoe
He said hey there Moses, do you have some roses,
I know it’s a quarter past 3
But if I give her a reason, regardless of season,
maybe she’ll come and dance with me
He said “go and scribe your legend on the days you’ve been given,
here in the land of lost balloons
--AVATARS IN JET ENGINES--
Another Avatar got sucked into a jet engine today, as he attempted to ascend to the heavens
It appears gods don’t make it very long here on Mulberry street
Guess he’s not coming home for Ice cream
the llama tried to jump over the moon, with some great bovine envy
he suffocated once he left the atmosphere, and then burned up on re-entry
Guess he’s not coming home for Ice cream
this is the place where I write the chorus
filled with profundity, inquisition, and a load of nifty rhyming words
about how I’ve found some great transcendence Train
pulled by 8 tiny reindeer
Now its time for the obligatory second verse
That generally reiterates the first
no I’ve not forsaken the prize
or turned my face from the future
it’s just that I realize I’m growing in an Image right here and now
--TEMPORARY LIGHT AFFLICTION--
The silhouettes inside his closet perpetually twist and shout
So he closes the window to keep the music out
The blinds stay closed to block out the horizon.
For fear that the sun will encourage his silhouettes to dance
The thorns that pricked his finger, Lay upon the floor
As this temporary light afflict pierces him to the bone
He cracks the window to let the music slowly in
As the silhouettes harmonize in discongruent song
The horizon peaks its head through remnants of jilted credence
And caresses a faded rainbow upon the etching on his wall
The thorns that pricked his finger, Now vased upon the table
As this temporary light afflict reflects upon our reason
he hinges upon the postulate, that only fools drink from folly
and that wise men always know the way, and good ones never falter
but the pricks upon his finger, tell him a different story
that maybe love and understanding, don’t always drink at the umbrage of regret
He throws open the window, to let the horizon in
As his silhouettes amalgamate intrinsic harmonies
The music fills the room with all the rainbows refractions
Of pain of joy of all the things that weaves and angels wing
The thorns that pricked his finger, Now bloom in brilliant life
As this temporary light affliction fades into the dance
--TRAMPLED ROSES--
I dance to the melodies that faded long before
I long for the questions in my youth I so adored
The light’s burning bright but I hide behind the door
There’s so much I am unsure of.
I have burned the wheat and left the chaff
I’ve chase the clouds, while trampling the roses
Wisdom sings the tune
As the heart writes the words
But its hard to tell if I’m listening
Whisper to me softly the secrets life
Of what lies behind balance of love and strife
As I quandary over the meaning of it all
And where it all take us
Jesus, Jesus
Can I tell you how I feel
There are the songs reason was never meant to sing
But my melody has gotten lost in all my quandering
--MARY DID YOU KNOW/ CAROL OF THE BELLS--
Mary did you know that your baby boy will one day walk on water?
Mary did you know that your baby boy will save our sons and daughters?
Did you know that your baby boy has come to make you new?
This child that you''ve delivered, will soon deliver you.
Mary did you know that your baby boy will give sight to a blind man?
Mary did you know that your baby boy will calm a storm with his hand?
Did you know that your baby boy has walked where angels tried?
And when you kiss your little baby, you have kissed the face of God.
The blind will see, the deaf will hear and the dead will live again.
The lame will leap, the dumb will speak, the praises of the lamb.
Mary did you know that your baby boy is Lord of all creation?
Mary did you know that your baby boy will one day rule the nations?
Did you know that your baby boy is heaven''s perfect Lamb?
This sleeping child you''re holding is the great I am.
--BIRDIES BOUNCING OFF WINDOWS--
I see birdies bouncing off windows
Simply because they don’t believe they are there
There are no second chances
Their bodies are broken by the choices they have made
And goliath comes,
and he swallows them down and he smiles
Cuz you know he thinks it’s a game,
doggy snacks from heaven
And fate laughs
as she lays down her final hand
And we turn our heads as we wonder
if the gamble was worth the price we paid
--CALL THE DOORWAYS--
Enter me calls the doorways, That encompass my decisions
Challenging my dreams
My visions and my questions
Oh Lord, please lead me
Through this journey I must travel
For sometimes the doorways
Seem kind of hazy
So many doorways
Are calling out my name
And wisdom seams fleeting
In this ocean of time
Time is my companion
Through the passing of this age
But there comes a doorway
In which we must part our ways
Oh Lord I pray
for peace in my world
For another heart to hold
And one more song to sing
For I am just a simple man
With a heart full of questions
Longing that I may never
sing my final song alone
--SMILE--
They sacrificed another cow today
upon the alter of religion
they said it’d make me a better man
give me favor with the upper had
I just don’t under stand
whats this gotta do with life, with love
what’s this gotta do with knowing you
does this somehow make me who I aught to be
does this really make me into some you want to see
now as through a darken glass, then to face to face
I just want to see you face to face
no, I don’t want religion, I just wanna know if I make you smile
are you glad you got to know me, do you find me worth your while
are you gonna be happy to see me, when I walk that final mile
do I make you smile
