PsiVamp was already showing musical talent at the young age of seven, playing and creating his own songs on a keyboard. In middle school he began to study the beautiful music of the violin, which has inspired the intense strings of his songs. While taking guitar instruction, he would often frustrate his instructors since he would play by ear rather than instruction, passing the other students in his music class. Graduating in 1986 he set out on various ventures to learn more about the worlds cultures and religions. With the collective knowledge of research and experiences, he has blended a unique outlook on life into a sound that captivates his audience by combining illusions and fantasies into a new world of reality. While creating this world, PsiVamp''s music transports the listener to a place where the reality is only restricted by the listeners'' imagination.
On July 3rd, 2001 PsiVamp was struck by lightning and went flat line in the emergency room. The momentary death experience influenced him in many ways. The experience has also affected him in his personal life as he has become more eccentric, hermetic, and as he would say, ".... has truly awakened....".
