Formed in September of 2003, Revere began when Eddie Meehan (bass) and Barry Anthony (drums) wanted to start a new project soon after Tenfold disbanded. While working in San Francisco , Eddie met Andy Slipka, a vocalist from the beloved Bay Area band Element of Surprise. Bring in guitarist Danny Thomas from Sacramento ''s Singe, and Revere is complete.
Revere ''s influences are as vast and eclectic as the music they create. Soft and soothing melodies effortlessly blend into exploding vocals with aggressive catchy riffs that presents a twist to the average rock band.
With the wide array of music tastes and experiences with past projects, Revere is a prime example of a band that is dedicated to their talents and refuses to give up what they love most-music.
Revere will be on tour throughout 2005 to accompany "Closing in on tomorrow" (produced by Far/Revolution Smile''s Shaun Lopez), along with a full-length album slated for a summer/fall 2005 release.
