Ben Adams has always wanted to create his own music using the translated lyrics of the Psalms. The challenge was to fit contemporary music styles with the biblical English translations of the Psalms. If you read the Psalms in their basic translated form, there are only hints of rhyme scheme when compared to 20th century lyrics. But there is a beauty in the free form flow of the different English translations of the Bible. Ben discovered that for him, the Psalms focus on an honest approach to the relationship and understanding of God. Anger, joy, praise, sin, and repentance; Heart Psalms explores these moments in the Psalms. What was created from this exploration was the use of 11 Psalms from the heart of the Bible, and the heart of the music from Ben''s own spiritual journey and experience.
