Claus Rydskov''s first full-length album ''Dark Room White Nights'' is a mesmerizing and subtle mix of traditional singer ''n songwriter and modern folk. The intriguing tunes of Claus Rydskov are engaging and mellow, covering fully orchestrated arrangements to sparse songs, honed down to Claus'' vocal and a single instrument.

Claus Rydskov composed, recorded, arranged and produced the album, which features guest appearance by Brendan Power (NZ) on harmonica (previous studio and live perfomances for Sting and Van Morrison).
After 7 years of preparation the songs were finished and mixed in a retro equipped studio in the Swedish countryside by John Wood, well known for his work with music legend Nick Drake, as well as his work with John Cale, Beth Orton, Cat Stevens, Leonard Cohen.
