When someone asks, "What is her sound, who does she sound like?" The best response to be given is, "She sounds like Chrisie." There are rare instances when a person possesses a unique aptitude for telling stories about life in a signature fashion. When this occurs it is difficult to draw comparisons.
Chrisie Santoni is currently recording her debut full length album with Jethro Tull''s keyboardist, Andrew Giddings. The two met while she was performing in Red Bank, NJ. Andrew had just finished a show at The Count Baise Theater when a chance meeting offered Chrisie an opportunity to send her music to Mr. Giddings at his home in England. After some consideration the two decided to embark on their first collaborative effort, due out in fall 2003.
Chrisie has written songs for films such as Daria and Watch the Flowers Grow. Most recently she has written a song for the film Jersey Girl starring Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck. "I enjoy working with films because you have a story line already built for you, and for me as a song writer I find that working with other writers helps me to see things from a different perspective."-Chrisie Santoni
