Musically,it reveals influences of artists such as Pete Yorn, Switchfoot, Coldplay, Jeff Buckley, and Damien Rice. Lyrically, it is exremely thought provoking and inspiring, while also very worshipful. His solo debut, The Lightning Inside, includes the song, "Lightning", with DC Talk''s Kevin Max.
His EP was released in January of 2005 as a prelude to the full length set for release in May of 2005. It includes the song, "Everything''s Okay", as a bonus track that will not be included on the full length.
