Although this band of gypsies is based in California, their roots go deeper. Several years ago the members of Slackjaw Jezebel met in the Steel City, while playing in separate bands and a strong friendship was spawned. John Perkovic and Jeanne Weiss, of the all famous Puppetshow, and JM Winkles and Stevon Canvas of Pittsburgh''s Mother McCree''s Garden, shared stages throughout the east coast before deciding to join forces in late 2004. After the production of their first EP, moTHermcCree''spUppetShow, the band is ready to set the world on fire.
