Hollywood Gossip is a pop band from Austin, Texas. The group is composed of four charming persons-about-town that just happened to be in the right place at the right time. Together, they make jangly, swingy songs that brim with nervous energy.
You''re So Quiet is the first release from the band. Influenced by break-ups, crushes, romances and defeats, the EP moves from upbeat ditties to slow country numbers. Rocking closer "Something''s Happening" features a cast of local Austin scene-makers, in what can honestly be called a love letter to the river city.
"Bicycle" is Hollywood Gossip''s most requested track. It illustrates a frustrated love — the point between yearning to give more and wanting to say ''screw it'' and keep moving. And in the end, the tension is lovely.
