MASTERLAST...A newly born metal band driven by Lizza Hayson''s unique guttural vocals and Val Glauser''s super-edgy guitar riffs.
It all began in 2002 with the two girls living together in a run-down lower east side apartment. Inspired by their turbulent living conditions and environment, singer Lizza and guitarist Val came up with their first material and passionate lyrics which focus on survival, freewill, fall and regeneration.
Their powerful and melodic songwriting seized the attention of sound programmer C-Drike, who immediately joined the band and incorporated his sonic universe, made up of both avant-garde industrial and ancestral tribal elements.
MASTERLAST has become an explosive live entity with the arrival of drummer John Macaluso and bassist Will Valentine. With the completion of their first EP, Think of the Day, the band is now ready to transport their audience beyond normal borders to an innovative musical dimension, constantly haunted by the quasi-virile incantations of the ultra female singer and celebrating the synergy of the instinct and the spirit.
