MP3 Someone Somewhere - Volume I

Melodic rock, layered with cutting edge guitar and soulful female vocals...

10 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Progressive Rock, ROCK: Modern Rock

Details:
The sultry vocals of Jodi Essex combine with the musical
virtuosity of former Aldo Nova guitarist Kevin Karlsson to make up the new San Francisco-based band "Someone Somewhere." Also joining the duo live, is Eric Paris on bass, formerly of Matt Santry and Vast Difference, with Jay Thomas, formerly of MT Minds on drums. This group is sure to deliver with some conviction.
Their self-titled debut album, Someone Somewhere, Volume I, starts with an amazing take on the George Michael classic, "Freedom 90''" and features nine other tracks of two diverse but perfectly complimentary musical styles; strong ballads such as "Love Isn''t Like This" and driving power-rock tunes like "Girlfriend" that rock in the spirit of Sevendust and Stone Temple Pilots. Melodic but meaningful, the music of Someone Somewhere challenges a personal assumption that no matter how perfectly we think we''ve planned our life, there is something, or someone, somewhere, a million miles ahead of us directing our paths....
