Growing up in Minneapolis, Kelly Gibson began playing piano at the age of ten, he studied though his teens with Tom Weeklund and the late Manfredo Fest. Kelly attended Berklee College of Music and graduated as a performance major. He then polished his skills playing professionally in the Minneapolis area for several years.
Kelly re-located to Florida and worked as a freelance musician in the Tampa Bay area for over twenty years. Performing for cruise lines, theme parks, playing studio sessions and teaching. After playing all styles of music from solo piano to rock and electronic music Kelly returned to his first love, the piano.
Now living in the mountains of North Carolina Kelly performs in the Asheville area playing many styles of music.
