Coming from the high-plains of Wyoming, SPEER is making their mark on metal in their own https://www.tradebit.com have Classic Rock influences like Ted Nugent, Boston, Led Zeppelin, and The Who. We are also heavily influenced by Metal bands like Metallica, Pantera, Slayer, and Motley Crue. Having such a wide array of influences has helped SPEER to create music that is enjoyable for them as well as their fans. SPEER was formed by two friends; Dustin Jones (Guitars, vocals) and Dave Dean(Drums,Percussions). After having played in bands together off and on for over 11 years, the two decided to form SPEER and take their experiences to the next level.
SPEER has been featured on 106.9 KASS, The Heavy Set, in Casper, WY, KOMP Radio in Las Vegas, and 104.5 KMKX in Rock Springs, WY. Lately they have been using the Internet to help further their exposure. We have been getting a very warm response on https://www.tradebit.com, and it has helped with world wide exposure also. Currently building their fan base in and around the Casper area, SPEER is planning on working their way to Denver, Billings, and Salt Lake City. SPEER does not limit themselves to any one certain genre of music. SPEER is a band that likes to experiment with all styles of music. It''s the only way to keep things fresh and exciting.
Speer has a 4 song e.p. available for sale, and are in the beginning stages of recording a full length CD. SPEER does bring something interesting to fans of heavy music.
