Walters & Kazha went Nr. 5 at International Eurovision Song Contest 2005.
Vocalists of the teenage group “Putnu balle” Walter & Kazha met 16 years ago when at the age of two they were accepted to the children pop group “Dzeguzite”. It was pop band where both achieved their first success by performing songs written by the maestro Raimonds Pauls – most popular Latvian composer so far. In 1996 they’ve got Annual Musical Award for the album of “Milky Way” gained the prestige title of the Best selling children album. Together with “Dzeguzite” Kazha and Walters have travelled to 22 countries and have also performed at the most prestigious concert hall of the world- “Madisson Square Garden” in New York.
The first album of “Putnu Balle” was released on April 28, 2005 by MicRec PM label and released in Latvia and Lithuania. Got golden status in Latvia.
Now you see their first international album “The War Is Not Over” released in January 2006 and so far released in Baltic countries.
