“I Delight In You” is Becky’s first solo debut which was released last summer in Williams Lake, BC. Although the album snagged a nomination for the “Best Aboriginal Album”, Thomas sees it as a real cross-over worship album. “The intent of the album was to be a bridge between cultures, expressing the delight of the Creator in all people”. With a background extending from Tennessee to Hawaii, BC to Saskatchewan, Thomas has a heart to see the aboriginal peoples of North America embraced and honored. Married to a Canadian and part Cherokee, Becky longs for the day when all people can gather together to worship the Creator with their unique tribal languages expressions, rejoicing in diversity but joined in heart and spirit.
