MP3 SWiLL - KillKillKill

"KillKillKill" is the ground-breaking industrial rock debut from the biggest dicks in Kansas City. Heavy and abrasive, yet ultra-melodic songs of media overkill and urban decay delivered with a fist-to-the-face intensity.

ROCK: Hard Rock, METAL: Industrial Metal

Details:
Spawned from disgust and contempt for the current state of the music business, SWiLL has set out to assassinate all pre-conceived ideas about what a rock band should be. Forget about feel good emo and folk rock. Forget about the prefab canned beats of the current electronic dance wave. Forget about the corporate boy/girl bands that are spoon fed to the faceless masses of idiots who are naive enough to consume them. SWiLL is about none of the above.

SWiLL is bent on producing music that defies a simple or generic catagorization. Embracing technology, SWiLL employs the use of computers, sequencers, and machines to enhance the music they create. While definite influences can be heard in their sound, the band strives to emulate nobody. Instead, SWiLL strives to create a unique and engaging brand of music that is hard driving and even vulgar at times. Fueled by over-exposure to television and other media overkill, their lyrics are brutally honest and real. Most subjects are tackled with a tongue-in-cheek approach. You will hear no songs about flowers, fresh little candies, or puppy dogs. Expect no sappy laments of love or the heartache of failed relationships. These tired topics have been done to death.

SWiLL was conceived and hatched in 1999 by PHiL SWiLL, who is the chief lyricist, programmer, and vocalist for the band. After scouring the Kansas City well of musicians for the perfect cohorts, he selected Renrag S. to handle the bass guitar chores and Jaymes Boes to carry the heavy weight of the guitar duties. Initially, the band performed live with a drum machine. This piece of technology was soon replaced by Special K who now handles the skin beating for SWiLL both live and in the studio.

The past four years have been a path of growth for SWiLL. They have toured as far east as New York and have found themselves playing with such national acts as Dope, The Peppermint Creeps, Lizzy Borden, Razed In Black, and The Genitorturers to name but a few. SWiLL has earned the reputation as "The Garbage Men of the Midwest" with their raucus live shows. They employ the use of countless confetti canons, toilet paper, and leaf blowers to launch a colossal mess at every show. GWAR has nothing on these guys..... It is an experience not soon forgotten by anyone who attends one of their live shows.

SWiLL hopes to increase their ever-growing fanbase, "The Swillage People", to astronomical numbers over the months to come with the release of their CD, "KillKillKill".
