MP3 Talk Radio - Supposed to be Good for You

Driving power pop, great for poolside dancing.

11 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Modern Rock, POP: Power Pop

Details:
"Supposed to be Good for you" the band''s debut self-release, is a collection of 11 songs written (originally about the stresses of working) and recorded over several months in Mike and Scott''s basements, and finalized at Denver area studios, most notably "The Ranger Station" where they formed an unholy alliance with famed bluegrass producer/engineer Butch Hause.

Butch''s experience with Norman Blake, Baxter Black and countless other cowboy, country and bluegrass artists made for an interesting mix with Talk Radio''s 3-piece, drum-heavy 12-string electric guitar power pop. Butch claims he''s still suffering from ear fatigue. (Sorry, Butch.)

The band was featured recently on "The Studio", a nationally syndicated indie radio show. The host of the show, Uncle Joe, described the cd as follows: "Every song has a different vibe, these guys are all over the place stylistically."

The band''s live shows have been described as "Wonderfully acerbic" by the Rocky Mountain News and "Combining biting social satire with music perfect for poolside dancing" by a local music magazine.

Talk Radio is anticipating a late 2002 release of a new CD "Dork" Stay tuned (or subscibe to the e-mail list) for tour dates, new T-shirts and other news.

The Result is " Supposed to be Good for you."

Thanks for your time and keep supporting indie music!!!!!!!!!!!!!
