A native of Los Angeles, Ryan Coyle is a multi-talented and award winning musician with a strong musical background. Ryan is a graduate of the Percussion Institute of Technology at Musician''s Institute in Hollywood, Ca. where he received the Most Improved Student Achievement Award for the graduating class of Fall ''05.
Together with co-writer George Woods (Against the Grain and Sydnee Duran), the two have conceived an album that has classic rock fused with modern rock for what will become the new Modern Classic Rock. Ryan''s vocal style has been compared to Jim Morrison and Michael Stipe while George''s guitar playing has the melodic soulfulness of Neal Schon combined with the technical proficiency of Paul Gilbert.
In addition to his solo career and leading his band Arrival, Ryan has lent his skills as a sideman to local artists such as Sydnee Duran (signed to Hollywood Records), Jessica Callahan and PEP, as well as founding the award winning band Chime (Southbay Music Awards 2007 Pop Band of the Year).
His debut album TIME will be sure to hit a chord with fans of both classic and modern rock. His follow up album Take a Stand is due for release in late 2009.
