Larry White emanates from the San Francisco Bay Area, where he majored in music at Peralta City College and was a present figure on the Jazz scene. Larry was hiatus from the music business while he lovingly raised his family. Now, after the untimely passing of his beloved wife, Larry felt compelled to return to his music. According to so many that have heard this CD, they have been touched by the depth of his music.

Larry has embarked on the creation of his new CD entitled "Urban Dreams" as an expression of his feeling dedicating track two to his beloved wife "What Now My Love". You will find many heart felt songs on "Urban Dreams CD". The CD expresses the smooth jazz style of playing influences by George Benson and even newer artist like Peter White, Norman Brown and others. Larry is always perfecting his musical craft.

Larry has contributed his talents to greats such Stevie Wonder, the Whispers (One of there many, many hits "And the Beat Goes On"), Al Green, Ronnie Laws, a well known Jazz Saxophonist. Larry performed a year with the Oakland Symphony playing from Gershwin melodies to Shaft. He has recorded with member of the Crusaders.

He began his music profession at the age of 16 with a well known bay area group "the Jazz Politicians". Some of the members of this group went on to play with "Sly and Family" and Graham Central Station" (Grammy Music award winner Larry Graham). He played in the Hit musical "Big Time Buck White where such stars as Ted Lang and Danny Glover got their start.

Larry has also been in demand as a studio musician with such artists as Wayne Henderson of the Crusaders, Lenny Williams and many others. Larry has been affiliated with Fantasy records, and then Mercury records as well as other studios in the Bay Area and Los Angeles.

Larry is performing and playing songs from his new CD, "Urban Dreams". He has gotten many great reviews for his musical efforts.
