Who are We Really ?
Born into this world, I lived until I was 18 in a city just outside of Philly called Wilmington, where there were many parks and very little diversity. I knew when I first visited NY at 8 years old that one day I would live there. And I did. I moved to NY with my training in recording, piano,and voice and my love for sounds I had come to know as home. My objective,to create my own sound and have a voice in the world of music.
Growing up my parents loved to jam, write songs,d ance and perform with us. We listened to Roberta Flack, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, The Stylisitcs, and all the Mowtown https://www.tradebit.coms inspired me to start writing songs in 3rd grade. In junior high I started playing in my first rock and roll https://www.tradebit.comt''s when it became a part of me; Rock and Roll...the feeling...We played covers of our favorite artists Stevie Nicks, Bad Company, Queen, Heart, The Beatles of course and a lot of Zeppelin. With these influences running through my fingers, spirit and throat I discovered jazz in Boston, at The Berklee College of Music...Forever I was changed. I formed a new understanding of what music is and can be...all the colors and vibrations it not only captures but creates.
I grew. I faced love as a young woman in the city, cultivated friendships, felt pain and hardship; and learned about the world and performance in clubs and touring with various groups like Guns and Roses in stadiums throughout Europe the US, Japan and Australia. Then love and opportunity brought me to LA. Here is where I have made my debut album. And with my life savings and all of my heart, soul, tears and convictions, I am taking it to the world...starting here...Every artist wants to touch the world but right now I want to touch you...
