Transientworld is an Electronica Duo from Vancouver, British Columbia Canada that consists of Mark Lazeski AKA Subkarma and Mary Ancheta AKA Anteater. Subkarma and Anteater of Transientworld compose and co-produce their own music in their studio, Transientworld Audio.
Transientworld''s music is a Electronica at its'' best ranging from hard hitting industrial to breakbeats to techno to downtempo chillout trax. Winners of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest in 2003 and 2002 with over 250, 000 entries worldwide for standout vocal tracks "Awake" and "Forever in the Sun". Judges in this contest included Bjork, Wyclef Jean, and Meshell to name a few.
Their music has also featured in many forms of media such as Showtime''s The L Word, Bravo''s Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, The Dead Zone, Cold Squad, a Sony Memory Stick Commercial and the Independent Film, "Everyone" written and directed by Bill Marchant.
All Things Transient is Transientworlds'' debut CD officially released in April of 2004. Their influences range from The Chemical Brothers to Tortoise to A Perfect Circle.
