There is a time to speak. The time is now. My inspiration to write this song and create the video comes from the fact that hundreds of thousands of babies are being killed every single day. This greatly disturbs me, and it should disturb you. Just because we can’t “see” the baby inside the womb, doesn’t mean it isn’t living. YOU were living before you were born. Because there are thousands of abortions every day, there are thousands of women out there who are suffering because of their “choice”. They may have made a decision for a reason that sounded right at the time, but does not feel right now. My heart truly goes out to all of them. In addition, there are thousands of men also, who “chose” to end the life of their child—either by way of paying for the abortion, or ignoring their responsibility and therefore making the woman feel pressured to have an abortion.
No matter how “enlightened”, “hip”, or “modern” our society may become, we are still human beings who were created to love, not destroy. WE CAN DO BETTER THAN THIS!
President Obama has promised to sign the Freedom of Choice Act that will remove all limits on abortion. That would mean that a mother could kill her child right up until the moment it was born. This act will also will remove protection for a baby that is born alive from a failed abortion--medical attention will not be allowed. This means that they will be left to die. Alone.
The holocaust was a horrible example of what happens when a government doesn’t respect life. Our world is allowing an ongoing holocaust every single day. While many babies that are aborted, though fully formed, are tiny, more and more mid and late term babies are being aborted. The mounds of their once healthy, but now dead, bodies look much the same.
Please...Stop. Think. Pray. There is another answer. Adoption is a beautiful choice.
