Nikki Hornsby marketed CJP-NHRecords produced recorded products worldwide in the late 1980s. She never herself went to support the European commercial charting obtained at that time from a Number One in Spain to top 5 throughout Europe.
Even people in Nashville were impressed with her accomplishments from her original first time released work but it was based on the merit of the product produced, the choices of the listeners, & radio personalities at that time.
Challenged by the fact she was not married and had to support herself financially with her own hard club work, she continued as a club performer sometimes five days and nights a week. She did this in order to buy a house, cars, & rental property within Southern CA not far from the beach. She consulted others starting out on how to do the same.
Someone in her club audience one night said she could make the European charts but could not make the radio charts in the USA. She proved them wrong with her next "Shoestring & A Prayer" release. She followed that National airplay up with a USA 17 day 17 State tour guided by her radio promoters across the USA doing radio on-air interviews. She did this in gratitude for the airplay already achieved among the Majors throughout the country stations in the USA.
Nikki also gave credit in print to the financial investors in her productions proving merit.
In the year 2000, Nikki''s older brother became terminal ill in need of a heart transplant so she went back into the studio to make another CD "Reaching Out" of original positive country songs dedicated to him. This was financed by herself & family members. But her brother died before it''s commercial release. This CJP-NHRecords product made now 10 worldwide original releases including the prior VHS Video Highlights marketed & sold to her fan club members.
The next CJP-NHRecords project in 2004 would be her own choices of originals with her instrument arrangements and co produced with the knowledge she had from prior recordings. This she would finance herself knowing the return would come from hard work.
"Just Wait" CD would be market tested in 2005 and released in 2006. These ten songs she would take herself to Europe because that is where she was given the first chance in the 80-90s to be a respected singer-songwriter musician recording artist.
In Europe 2005-2006 she would prove her music marketable because she had the goal of giving access to other artists to record all these songs once they reached a Grammy (NARAS) level. Nikki reached that level with the acceptance of submission for the first NARAS ballot but an unfortunate accident happened that stopped her progress.
The end of 07 to 08 Nikki was recovering from personal injuries from an in flight airplane accident on the way home to the USA, but she could not give up her goal to make more music.
CJP-NHRecords became incorporated in 2008 for Nikki to continue her lifelong professional career in the music industry but now to share the burden of record label work.
In 2009 Nikki Hornsby is released "Just Wait Instrumentally". There are other projects planned in collaboration for 20 unknown writers under CJP-NHRecords label for a 2 CD for civilians related to military servicemen & women once completed to be distributed worldwide.
Nikki Hornsby is a working woman who has devoted herself to the responsibility of her craft, business, and her God given talent in music. This responsibility is to share with others her passion.
Nikki has over 300 songs of her own that she wrote in different styles & has personally performed as a musician in concerts, live on Radio & TV throughout Europe and in the USA. She will produce them in the recording studio one day and plans to take them around the world even to the South Pacific to market them to continue sharing as long as she is able.
It''s her dreams that music is without limits or borders. She writes for sharing because as an artist, born like Nikki Hornsby who inherited her talents, she is one who isn''t going for the fame or fortune, but for the music to reach many hearts to fill them up with the gift. It is this gift for which she cares and works very hard in spite of hardships. Just listen to the lryics if you like the Instrumental Version of "Just Wait" and you will see.
