Bobby Lovelock hails from the clean streets of Chicago Illinois. Growing up listening to a variety of musical styles, he found his passion lay in the rhyme schemes and beat loops of earlier musicians like Rakim, Dj Premier, and Jay-Dilla. Going on 8 years now, Bobby has been an integral part of the Chicago hip-hop scene, sharing the stage with some of hip-hop''s biggest names, as well as deejaying steadily around the city. If you are in Chicago, you can catch him at spots every weekend, and you might even get a free drink for mentioning one of his albums.
Relying on a heavy sense of gratitude and respect for the culture of Hip-hop, Bobby tries to produce music that is consciously rooted in the prior experiences of the genre, but not defined by it.
