Johnny and Donna have also written, produced, and performed their songs in four other recent TV movies.
"WHERE NO OTHER LOVE HAS GONE" was personally put on hold by Barry Gibb (The Bee Gees or The Brothers Gibb) for the group to record just before Maurice''s untimely death. Barry told Johnny that they very rarely record outside songs, but felt this composition was a smash. Their future recording plans are presently uncertain.

As bassist & back-up singer, Johnny recorded, & toured the U.S., Canada, and overseas with RONNIE MILSAP (RCA Records) for five years. He appeared on many TV shows including: The Midnight Special, Grammy Awards, Don Kirshner''s Rock Concert, BBC Music Awards, and The Today Show. During this period, he recorded three gold albums with Milsap, two of which were named ALBUM OF THE YEAR by the CMA. Johnny also appears in print within the Ronnie Milsap book titled

Johnny penned the group''s smash single

Johnny was the lead singer, songwriter, producer for the first rock act to ever secure a major recording deal based in Nashville. The band was MIGHTY HIGH (MCA Records).
The band crashed through the walls of Nashville and Music City was never the same! National music critics praised their ground breaking CD.
Johnny appears as a back-up vocalist on the Garth Brooks Liberty Records CD "The Chase", (which includes the award winning single & video "We Shall Be Free")

As an exclusive artist/producer/songwriter for
THE CHARLIE DANIELS COMPANY (Sound Seventy Productions), Etta James recorded Johnny''s song "JUMP INTO MY FIRE". It appeared on her Grammy nominated CD SEVEN YEAR ITCH (Island Records). Rolling Stone, Time, & People magazines gave his song their highest marks. Donna & Johnny have also included their version of this song on their CD.
Johnny was the featured lead singer on
THE NASHVILLE NETWORK''s very first TV show, DANCIN'' U.S.A.. He also wrote & sang the show''s theme song. Johnny appeared on 140 shows. The show had millions of viewers each week.
Johnny performed the song "YOU CAN''T BREAK AMERICA''S HEART", and was the featured singer in the song''s video to help the Oklahoma City Mayor''s Relief Fund For Bombing Victims. He received a letter of recognition from Vice-President AL GORE for his contributions and was presented with an American flag that had flown over the White House.
