Combining the creative influences of artists such as Depeche Mode with their visionary songwriting, the visual imagery and emotional base of David Bowie''s live performances and the sounds and production of Front 242, Recoil and Delerium.
Ehron Vonallen`s lyrics tell of lost love, faith, euphoria, pain, rape, and nuclear fallout. He plays haunting synth textures, his synth timbres slice through the gloom, his intricate loops are infectious, and he sings most of the mournful leads. The music is deep, intense, and ingeniously constructed. Vonallen has successfully amalgamated the styles of his influences - Depeche Mode, David Bowie, Recoil, Enigma, and Front 242 - and delivers heart-wrenching material on Incarnation, his debut CD. He has vision and talent, and we all should listen.
Sound in the new Moog Voyager
Ehron Vonallen recently had the honor to create one sound for the preset bank of the new Moog Voyager Synthesizer. 35 years ago Moog started the commercial analog synth, and now it`s a staple in the electronic music world.
The synth comes with 128 program presets. Ehron`s patch is "Bass for E. Vonallen".
The programmer for the synth is Zon Vern Pyles (Nord, Korg, Moog, Alesis, Quasimidi) who has been a good friend of Ehron`s since meeting 2 years ago.
"Bass for E. Vonallen" in Electronic Musician Magazine!
Geary Yelton, associate editor for the world renowned magazine Electronic Musician recently wrote about the new Moog Voyager synthesizer stating
"I spent some time exploring the Performer model`s standard Presets. Of all the bass Presets, In the Pocket and "Bass for E. Vonallen" are my favorites; both are definite blasts from the past, and certainly the most authentic Moog basses I`ve ever heard"
