"He''s spent this year touring the country to promote his recently released solo CD, "i am free", and now he''s bringing it all back home. Diehl''s stripped-down acoustic style is reminiscent of the late Jim Croce; his lyrics more often than not deal with the ambiguities presented by life and love... one thing''s for certain: Will Diehl is the real deal."

The ... guitarist and singer has returned to a stripped down sound featuring raw acoustic elements, earthy voicing and occasional harmonica play, all of which serve as the unobtrusive supporting cast to the lyrical qualities of his songwriting talents."

-North Lake Tahoe Bonanza Newspaper

"Will Diehl has a nice sound. Acoustic music has always appealed to me, and this song stands with the best of them musically. It is obvious from the start of the track that this guy knows his instrument well. The quality of the music is great, and would keep me listening even if it was instrumental. Top that off with some good vocals. Will has a voice that sounds like it was meant for this music... Check out Will Diehl''s "True Love" if you want to hear the bare essentials of music played with some heart."

"All right, all right. So I admit it, I might seem busy, but there is busy, and there is Will Diehl. Chosen from his 60+ (!) tracks available on https://www.tradebit.com, it''s a wonder we haven''t run across him before. But, as fate plays such a gracious hand, we have the opportunity now. Experience karma sutra in action, the essence of a sand spired cathedral bulges and grows out of the Saharan sands to an ominous and unearthly size. Must be an homage to the Gods, as this track might very well suggest. Beautiful melodic interplay between a fretless bass and an old world relic stringed instrument. Sounds like sitar, so we''ll go with that for now, although we here in the Land of Phrygia Music Recognizance and Referential Side Notations Board will make concessions for error. This track brings in the early sounds of a group called Tri-Atma, who were more interested in melting old world music and instruments with beefy Euro-Jazz. The their added advantage, they were all incredible musicians, multi-faceted in every realm, as is Will Diehl. Take a breather and sit down for this one. " (review of ''In The Shadow of the Great Cliff'' from Will''s Sandman CD)
