Glen Soderholm is a singer/songwriter, worship leader, and teacher who directs Moveable Feast Resources, a ministry that exists to encourage the people of God to participate in vibrant worship. This ministry is based in Rockwood, Ontario, where Glen lives with his wife Sharon (a professional counsellor) and daughters Danielle (18) and Julia (16).
After eventually finishing an undergraduate degree in History and English at the University of Toronto in 1981, Glen worked for six years with Youth for Christ in their high school campus ministry. During that time he felt a call to pursue ordained ministry, and studied at Knox College (Toronto School of Theology) where he completed his M. Div. in 1991. He then received a call to the pastoral charge of St. David’s Campbellville/Nassagaweya, where he ministered with and among the people of that community for thirteen years until June 2004, upon which he began his new calling to develop Moveable Feast.
Glen has a deep interest in, and passion for, the worship life of the body of Christ. He has been involved in the church’s worship for many years as participant, leader, pastor, provocateur, and resource person within a variety of settings. In that time Glen has released four recordings:
In the Belly of the Fish (1997), By Faint Degrees (2000), Rest (2003), World Without End (2006), and This Bright Sadness (2008).
He has traveled throughout North America to perform, teach, lead others in worship, and build many friendships in Christ. He feels enormously blessed to be able to pass on Christ’s gifts to all those prepared to receive them.
