The newest cd from Doug Huff “Just A Blindman” carries out the commission to reach the hearts of the listeners with the positive message of faith in Christ.
So many of the songs that have been written by Doug are life experience of day to day living and facing different situations along life’s path. The song ‘Till I Found You, for instance is life without Christ mostly as a teen running from the Lord and the way people saw him as opposed to how Jesus could see what he could be in Christ and was written in his late teens and just now recorded for this project.
Another song just written for this project during 2008 ,”Keep Running” , is a song that expresses how it so often feels in life as a father and husband just trying to make ends meet for practical living and holding on to Jesus for every word in the Bible that speaks of faith and finishing our race that God has set before us. Other songs on the project are worship songs and an inspirational song for friends called “Always” . The song always is a story that expresses a deep sense of losses in Doug’s life that caused him not to really love people the way he used to once in life and how that God had sent along an 11 year girl that without any restraint became a dear friend and caused him to see the walls he had built up around himself without knowing it and he will forever remain true friends in life with her.
Doug is busy on the road a lot and sees God opening new doors every day to reach more people in song and in ministry from the pulpit. Doug is Pentecostal and holds a ministers license through the United Christian Church & Ministerial Association of Cleveland Tenn.
Already after having completed this project a new one is brewing and may very well be done by next year. Be watching for it.
