This record starts with Vivaldi''s concerto for 5, in D major (Op.7/12) : solo violin, violin 1, violin 2, viola and "basso continuo". Haendel''s sonata for two violins and keyboard in G minor, (Op.2 /7) the present unpublished version, is orchestrated for the first time for 4 violins and one viola by the violinist and viola player Gérald Israël.
