Details:
I''m a music fanatic with interests in many genres''. Guitar is my main instrument so I try to see and hear as many guitarists as possible. I have a huge music collection (including vinyl which is growing exponentially) specializing in my eclectic interests. All of my work is done from beginning to end by myself, each guitar part, recording, production, art work, you name it, I do it all until the CD production/replication Co. makes the retail ready copies to my exact spec''s. This first recording Cosmickallage was done completely while I lived in a apartment so I couldn''t use any microphones (except for a few acoustic parts) and most of what I had to work with was a 4 track cassette recorder, a Sony CD player, a audio CD recorder and during the final stages a VS840. But MOST of this was done on my original 4 track cassette player and CD players. Then my cassette 4 track died, I bought another one, used, it died after a month, and only played my original material at a faster speed, which is why some of the tunes sound sped up - cuz they are!(Intro of #1,4,5,7,8,10)The fades were done using the fade on my CD remote; I remixed this disk over 20 times. Originally I wanted this to be one long string of tunes from beginning to end with out any stops. Well, in the end I got so sick of mixing the material that I just went with what I had. The recording isn''t perfect, no million dollar studio here folks, perhaps a thousand...

But herein lies my whole philosophy of music, I''d rather hear Art Tatum or Oscar Peterson or Elliot Fisk, Chopin or Stevie Ray Vaughn or anyone who can actually play and has talent and something meaningful to say that they actually might believe in; and I''d listen to them in mono in a crowded party room with audio imperfections like noise and mike buzz then 90% of what I hear in the "market".

Nothing could make me happier then finding someone who likes this music for what it is, mainly, ART. I don''t believe in just shredding out scales, although speed in the style of the early Gershwin masters or Paganini is hard to beat. If you''re wondering if I can play, listen to "Exister" or "Sea Breeze". I like to think of some of my music in a composition light which I see visible in such tracks "Slight Return" or "Hymn Suite".
