A set designer, muralist and voiceovers for Gumby 1 The Movie. Holly has published three Gumby children''s books using reel to reeel film from the gumby cartoon series, published by chronicle Books. She is now publishing her fourth book, which she has self- published written and illustrated called " Gumby goes to the Sun. I recorded one of my original songs, "All I want for Christmas," with Don Weed on Saxaphone. I love the simplicity of this recording. A record of our time at a place called the Bull Valley Inn in Port Costa , Ca; where the river meets the ocean…the entrance to the Carquinez straits…an old place with the important spirits. A place for music and many lively friends to meet every weekend. The Bull Valley Inn; watched over by my dear friends Joe Koemel and Keith Tucker. These were some of the best of times for me as an artist…...for 12 years we held court...geanie stout and friends on fridays and Terry Henry and friends on sat. and a lot of mingling.... And when magic happens….it is always forever and ever with you. Thank you Joe. ….it was so cool….. Geanie Stout.

A longtime Chicago Blues / Jazz musician Hart Mcnee played with such different bands as that of Steve “MelonHead” Miller, Andrew Jefferies and Otis Rush ( he was that sax on Right Place at the Wrong Time ). Boz Scaggs brought Hart out to San Francisco back in the day. He went on to play in the house band at slim’s and record with Marvin Holmes and The Funk Company ( they had the hit single “Find Yourself”) and those were his nightmoves. During the day he composed soundtracks for the Mitchell Brothers, all the while recording that lewd horn heard and perhaps responsible for Marilyn chamber’s “Resurrection of Eve”. Hart moved on to New Orleans twenty years ago. He has survived the flood. Armed and dangerous with his bass flute and baritone sax he gigs with the ensemble Boutte and at long last leads his own exquisite trio. Hart Mcnee is a complete artist in every sense of the word. Painter producer and musician.

On AM radio, as the stratosphere rose, in the cooler early morning hours, a kid in Milwaukee could tune in John R at WLAC in Nashville, Wolfman Jack in Del-Rio, and a New Orleans station that offered 10, 45’s of promising new artists delivered monthly. He did his homework and his love for blues, R & B, and jazz has provided him the privilege of touring and/or recording with Freddy King, Albert Collins, Link Ray, Michael Bloomfield, Sunnyland Slim, Luther Tucker, John Lee Hooker, Little Willie Littlefield, Hart McNee, Stephen Miller, Elvin Bishop, Big Walter Horton and many other amazing artists. He has been a player and producer on Geanie Stout’s albums and collaborated on film scores that include the 2007 release of Land of Shadowed Sand. He loves bass fishing , Texas, Bass playing in california …. but most of all he is proud of his son, Wylie Maercklein.
Terry Henry piano, bass, trumpet composer and singer
This triple threat Trumpeter,Bassist, and Pianist can draw inspiration from his playing experiences with Chet Baker, Charlie Haden, and Bill Evans respectively. A trumpet and composition major at the highly acclaimed North Texas State Jazz program, he additionally played six nights a week on bass in a trio setting while honing his skills daily as a pianist and playing trumpet gigs with saxophone legend John Hardee. After coming to Californina his stint as leader of the house band at Giulardis Restaurant with trumpeter Eddie henderson was frequented by a host of renowned musicians. His trumpet performances with chet Baker and Louis Gasca earned him the respect of audiences and critics alike.
An alumnus of the acclaimed North Texas University jazz program, the multi talented Henry has performed with some of the top names in jazz, including Charlie Haden, Bill Evans, Eddie Henderson and Chet Baker. Henry’s trumpet skills were displayed last year as a guest soloist with the Okland’s East Bay Symphony Orchestra. Many compositions that Terry Henry performs are Henry’s own. His tightly knit trio has been playing together for years in the Bay Area. Led by pianist, trumpeter, bassist Terry Henry, the trio has appeared at numerous jazz festivals, clubs and concerts in addition to a long running residence at Crockett’s Valona Deli. Every Sunday they play their hearts out at Terry’s deli. His drummer Bill Moody ( toured with jr. Mance, Earl Fatha Hines Maynard Ferguseion and vocalists Jon Hendricks and Lou Rawls ) . Moody is also the author of the Evan Horne Jazz mystery novels. The most recent is Looking for Chet Baker. Bill draws a lot of his writing from those many years with Terry Henry and their many close ties and longtime jazz musicians. Terry Henry is a musical genius. Geanie Stout has known Terry beginning with their long association at the Bull Valley Inn. He recorded a cd at Coast in San Francisco with Geanie in the 80’s. Terry Henry is great musician and composer and now a singer.
Ed Sanchez plays guitar on this cd. Ed played with the group out in Port Costa at the Bull Valley Inn and was very helpful in getting the cd recorded and then https://www.tradebit.com still resides in Calif. Bio. will be available soon.
