From the original 1979 LP cover: "Where is heaven?" Janice Kapp Perry answers this question in her song and in her life, which is centered around family and home. Raised on a farm in the small eastern Oregon town of Vale, Jan is a member of the talented family of Jacob and Ruth Kapp. This state and national award-winning composer received her musical training at BYU where she met and married Douglas C. Perry. They are the parents of five children. Jan is well-known for her outstanding original programs and published music. Her other interests, from sports to writing, are as delightfully varied as her music offerings. Jan''s songs may best be described as a tasteful blend of contemporary and spiritual. Christian virtues are palatably presented in each selection chosen for this album. To communicate with memorable simplicity is Jan''s philosophy. In doing so she offers music appealing to all ages.
