A Brief Biography
Born in Bishopville, South Carolina, where call-and-response field hollers carried over into Sunday worship, and reared in the Bronx, where scratching out beats on a turntable turned into a global phenomenon, Adriane Haye, quite naturally, opted to infuse her work with a whole range of musical styles and tones.
From her teens into her 20s, Adriane went on to record with the original human beat box and hip-hop legend Doug E. Fresh and The Get Fresh Crew. She was a guest soloist on the soundtrack of Bill Murray’s movie “Scrooged.” She performed live at Madison Square Garden alongside rock star Bono and U2. She collaborated with such recording artists such as J.T. Taylor from the Kool and the Gang funk band, house music diva Crystal Waters and R&B singer Starleena Young. She opened for gospel greats, The Williams Brothers, among others. Along the way, she also launched a solo career by being signed on with a major label, A&M Records.
Embarking now on her first ever-independent gospel recording – a much awaited and long prayed for project – Adriane is striving to reach as large an audience as God sees fit.
