Pastor Terron L. Morris has been a licensed minister for nine years and an ordained minister for six years. Although he is only 30 years old, he has worked in full-time ministry since 2002 as a children’s pastor, youth pastor and then eventually founding pastor of his own church. He is currently working on his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago.
Growing up in the church, he has been involved in music since a very young age. Pastor Terron’s goal has always been to uplift and encourage the hearts of people through his music. Look at me now was written with that very same goal in mind. To encourage and inspire people all across the world to dream again. To let people know that nothing is impossible, and their goals are well within reach.
This song is dedicated to President Barack Obama. His amazing victory in becoming the first African-American President of the United States taught us all to hope again. Through many adversities and trials, he continued to press on toward the goal, and now he can say, “Look at me now”. Let the words of this song move you to believe again. No matter what your plans may be, if you work hard and continue to believe, one day you’ll be able to proclaim, “Look at me now”.
Pastor Morris is a gifted piano player and songwriter. He is also a proud father to his daughter, Sakyrah, and currently resides in a southwest suburb of Chicago.
