“Many Thoughts/One MYC”, the first musical compilation featuring artists who’ve recorded at The MYC (pronounced “Mike”) in San Rafael, CA, is now available online at https://www.tradebit.com and will be up on I Tunes Summer 2009. This album features Hip Hop, Soul, Spoken Word, and Rock by youth artists such as, BayS.L.A.M, Chinita, Da Boiz, Haitian Kings, intellaFLOW, J Wize, Last Minute and others.
Inspired by studio sessions at The Intel Clubhouse inside The MYC, and the overall desire of youth to be heard and get their music out to the world, “Many Thoughts/One MYC” is a collage of songs with passion, inspiration, and tales of youth growing up, having fun, and expressing who they are via music. This compilation does NOT contain any explicit lyrics, and the youth have now been featured in the North Bay Bohemian, The Independent Journal, and https://www.tradebit.com.
On July 19th, 2009, the youth from the Many Thoughts/One MYC compilation CD will perform live for the 40th Anniversary of the Walk on the Moon at NASA Ames in Mountainview, CA. More tour dates, interviews, and features are planned for the summer season. All artists and producers are available for interviews..

About The MYC
The MYC is a teen center dedicated to working in partnership with Marin youth to provide an inspiring space for the exploration of the arts, music/entertainment, technology, and community. In addition to offering a range of programs, The MYC seeks to provide youth with the voice and skills necessary to engage in and develop programs that will help them discover their passions and prepare to be the next generation of Marin Adults.
