Lisa is the Worship Leader at Shepherd’s Care Ministries. Although she enjoys singing, it is in this role where she began to realize that worship was much more than singing, but rather a lifestyle. Lisa says it is while reading John 4:23-24 “But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is a Spirit; they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” she decided her response to this scripture would be “Seek No More”.
Lisa has been singing for many years with her family and church. In 1995 she began singing with a wonderful group of ladies named Unity. They recorded a project titled “Plain & Simple” in 1997.
At the end of 2003 she had a strong desire to teach practical principles and facilitate workshops for choirs and praise teams. It is during this time when she believes the Lord would lead her in recording a praise & worship CD. She had no idea the journey would take five years, and although challenging and sometimes daunting, she persevered.
Lisa wrote several songs on this project and co-wrote on others. She has a heart for worship and looks forward to ushering God’s people into his glorious presence.
