I''ve been rapping for about 13 years, but it wasn''t Christian rap, I started spitting that old gansta. I came up with a bunch of nuckleheads and became one, I sold, stole, and abused drugs for a hot minute. There were so many different people I''ve gotten over, and twice as many got over me. I remember being up for days rolling on X or flighting on cocaine, bouncing in the club drank so much I would pass out on the dance floor. I remember those mornings I awoke not knowing where I was, and sometimes who I was, and wondering who was this girl lying next to me. I remember my friends who overdosed on drugs and died, who committed suicide, and killed people tripping off them drugs. I remember one of my friends who threw himself over one of the tallest bridge in Louisiana, rumors said he died before he hit the waters, I believe he was dead before he threw himself and so was I. I remember the nights I ran from guns, I pulled out guns, and the nights I stared down the barrel of guns. My environment was a place that seem to have no daylight, only darkness lived here. I remember hearing my grandmothers, and my mama praying for me that a bullet or someones prison wouldn''t be the end of me, and my little brothers who followed me. I remember a night rolling in the club, I was lead out by the Holy Spirit, I didn''t know it then but I obeyed, and that same morning I stumbled into a church. I must tell you the name of my church or the pastor who was preaching that morning doesn''t matter, what matter is that morning I met with God!! Never will I be the same again, God saved me just as I was. The old Will was crucified with Christ, and i''m am now a new creation. Praise God, Praise God, Unto you God be all the Glory!! And by the way that Pastor''s name was Pastor Brian Smith!!!!
