Marty Jabara is a pianist, percussionist and composer with residences in California and Germany. In concert, on tour or in the studio, Jabara has accompanied Phil Collins, Babyface, Bonnie Raitt, Yo-Yo Ma, Edwin Hawkins, Brian Wilson (Beach Boys), Natalie Cole, Lou Rawls, Robbie Krieger (the Doors), Placido Domingo, Diane Reeves, Linda Hopkins and Niki Haris (Madonna).
He has performed extensively in Europe as musical director and arranger for American and German stage productions. For the last 10 years, he has made hundreds of appearances to sold-out houses in Paris, Berlin, Barcelona, Hamburg, Amsterdam, Basel, Vienna, Köln, Zurich, Munich and Lisbon.
Jabara has twice received the INTHEGA Prize from the German Theater Owners Association for Best Musical of 2008 and 2003 as musical director and arranger for “Play It Again, Ray Charles” and “King of Jazz: Satchmo”.
