Originally formed in 1983, Kill Van Kull rode the success of their 1987 vinyl EP release "EYE OF THE STORM" working clubs throughout the tri-state area including many at world famous L''Amour''s Rock Club in Brooklyn & CBGB''s in NYC, quickly building a following by word of mouth and college radio.
But in 1989, as the band charged into California,illness & other life situations sent the group into hiatus.
Now the three remaining original members (Rick Cabrera/Vocals, Billy Cardinale/Bass and NYPD Officer Vinnie Raschella/Drums) team up with Alex Mahoney/Sax & Guitar and NYPD Officer Al Anzalone/Lead & Rhythm Guitars on KVK''s new release "EDGE OF SUNRISE", which delivers pure hard rock power with an infectious blend of groove and blues.
