Behind the Album: The purpose of this album is to show versatility and creativity, and hopefully bring a unique sound to the game. My sound is like an alien just intruded the earth and zapped you with crazy bass, Out of This World synthesizers, dirty south hi hats, and neck snapping snares. From the first track to the end, you’ll hear that crazy, outer space, UFO spotting, extra terrestrial sound. It might be a slow tempo, or a fast one, but it’ll make you say “that’s different, but I like that issh.” This album’s not one dimensional: all club, or Hip-Hop, or R&B, or pop tracks. Instead, the listeners can vibe off of a jazzy melody, crank it up, or just simply chill to one of the smooth beats. It’s all about how you feel. This album gives you the chance to choose. There are plenty more beats where these came from, just be on the lookout It’s all about the artists and most importantly, the fans of LamarrP! Look out for that second album in Summer 2009.
About Me: Name: My middle name is Lamarr, last name initial is P...so I just just put 2 and 2 together and came up with LamarrProductionz aka KevLarBeatz (first name is Kevyn).
History: I always came up with beats in my head, but never had the tools to actually make one. So my boy introduced me to Fruity Loops about 6 yrs ago. I made a lot of beats. Started off horrible because I didn’t know what I was doing. I thought the beats were tight until I listen to them today. The only good thing about those beats is to listen how far along I came. So I ended up stopping for a little while. Then about 2 yrs ago, I tried Reason. Man, I’m glad I tried it because I never left. No disrespect to FL, but my music is on another level now. But all and all, I still have plenty of room for improvement and I’m willing to take suggestions and learn more from anybody.
