Bio
Poetically, reciting, entertainment, and, creating, heavenly, art; P.R.E.A.C.H.A. was born Andre Williams on the Westside of Chicago IL. Being the youngest of three he was always in competition with his older siblings for his mothers attention, and for that reason he always craved the spotlight.

Being introduced to music at such a young age, he was given a generous advantage. He was exposed to a variety of music jazz, Blues, R&B etc), but for some reason Hip-Hop stood out as his favorite. Exploring Hip-Hop pretty much brought on his love and respect for the urban form of poetic expression. With pure energy and a familiar flow, Preacha can be appreciated and heard on some of Chicago''s Underground mix tapes.

His growth as an artist is due to being driven. His affiliation with the Drama Ward gave him the opportunity to work with such names as Psycho Drama, Newsense, Danny Boy, and even the Guinness Book record holder Twista. He then went on to help form the LOTUS MOB, a Westside rap crew put together by him and some of his childhood friends.

Preacha has worked with Chi-Town, Inc., an independent label, where he can also be heard on an
underground "Demonstrations Vol 1" with a baritone voice, and raspy delivery. He makes you move on the albums club song "Party On". Preacha has performed in many shows like annual talent shows, festivals, clubs, and other contests.

Preacha was opening act for Twista in the Concerts in the Park Series in 1997 at Lafollette Park, opening act for Danny Boy in Summerfest in 1998 at Garfield Park, took 2nd place in the WGCI Gong Show in 1998 at the River West Nightclub, performed at the Taste of Austin in 1997-2007 at Columbus Park, opened for Chicago natives Psycho Drama in 1999, Chicago’s Crucial Conflict in 2000, and Harold Washington Cultural Center in 2008 to name a few.

Now with new management, he''s currently working on the release of his debut album, entitled GHETTO PROUD [The Hood Selections). On this album Preacha can be heard delivering awesome poetry to several very different types of tracks. True to his ghetto pride this album boast tracks from six different Chicago producers, to form an album that can be appreciated from start to finish.
