The album is produced by Belgian bluesphenomenon Roland and released by Play That Beat!/Virgin.
Singles ‘Baby’s In The World’ and ‘Fire’ become true radio hits in Belgium on national rockstations Studio Brussel and Radio 21.
Backed by a solid rhythm section, Serge Bakker on bass and Piet Jorens (a.o. dEUS,, Vive la Fête…) on drums , PJDS and Geoffrey Burton tour intensively.
As a duo they also play festivals in Canada (Festival d’Eté International de Québec), France (Printemps de Bourges), and Switzerland (Paléo Festival Nyon).
In January 1997 the new album ‘August’ is released and the title song becomes another fine radio hit.
The album is recorded in an old chapel, engineered and co-produced by Mike Butcher (Marvin Gaye, Black Sabbath, Arno … )
The album gathers some rave reviews in Belgian and Dutch magazines.

Come 2001 a new band is formed with Mirko Banovič on bass and Frederik Van Den Berghe on drums. Recordings for the new album ‘Light Sleeper’ take place at PJ’s house and in two renowned Brussels studios( ICP & BSB).
‘Light Sleeper’ is released to much critical acclaim in January 2002 on PJ’s own label BEUZAK Records. Belgian newspaper ‘De Morgen’ calls it ‘a genuine masterpiece’.
In January 2003 the band records a fourth album in Brussels’ JET studios. ‘SUITS YOU’ is released in March. 11 songs, written in 6 days and recorded and mixed the next 10 days. Again Belgian and Dutch press rate the album very high. A small tour in Belgium confronts the public with a sharp-dressed band that delivers its songs in true shock and awe style.
PJ produces upcoming talent SIOEN’s debut album and tours with Tom Pintens (Zita Swoon, 2000 Monkeys) in the fall of 2003.
The band tours intensively through Belgium and France in 2004 as part of Tambours Battants, a rock ‘n roll theatre play.
Come August 2005 PJDS joins the Keremos stable (Sioen, Absynthe Minded …)
An overview album containing songs from all 4 albums + outtakes and previously unreleased recordings is released in the fall of 2005.
