Real is an all-original rock band from Philadelphia, PA. Their music has been described as "Classic Rock for a New Generation." Real is a straightforward rock band, without the flannel of grunge, incoherent screaming, or the dancing and makeup of boy bands.
Harmonies are one aspect that sets the band apart from the typical "Rock" band. The band adds multi part harmonies to each of their songs. Each member shares the spot light as lead singer and contributes to the writing process of Real songs about Real people.
Having performed everywhere from New York City to Delaware and all over the Philadelphia area, there is practically no-place Real won''t play. To see them perform is to witness honest emotion painted with a careless brush on a live canvas.
Following the success of Real''s first CD "Until Your Home Again," (released on Little Devil Records in 2001), the band debuted a seven song LP, "I Blame You," in January 2005. The LP is yet another example of Real''s journey along the path of artistry and life - which is sure to please listeners of any age.
