BLYND is a band from Tucson, Arizona that was formed originally in 1998. After nearly 8 years of evolution and extensive sound experimentation, BLYND has harnessed a musical style all their own. Together this 5-man powerhouse creates a unique sound that intertwines digital samples and beats with a new agestyle of heaviness, evoking an high-energy emotional rollercoaster. BLYND has lived in Tucson for the entire existence of the band, but has played in other Arizona cities such as Mesa, Phoenix, Tempe, Lake Havasu City - and even as far as Torrence, California and Puerto Penasco in Sonora, Mexico. BLYND has been featured in Revolt In Style Magazine as well as In Your Ear Magazine. Aside from their original self-titled demo, BLYND has produced a 5-song EP, titled INSIGHT, which was recorded in Tucson at Avalanche Studios in early 2002. Both albums have received an enormous amount of airplay on local Tucson radio stations 92.1 KFMA and 96.1 KLPX. "Static" is the third album in the series and it promises to provide you an experience all it''s own! There are many hidden things to find on the album breaking it out of a traditional LP you find on shelves these days. Already this album is getting amazing reviews!! BLYND has had the pleasure of opening for such up and coming acts as Soulfly, Chimaira, Korn, Chevelle, Yellowcard, My Chemical Romance, Hed P.E., OTEP, Phunk Junkeez, I.R.A.T.E., Blank Theory, E-Town Concrete and Noise Therapy. BLYND has also competed among hundreds of bands inthe Tucson area and placed 2nd in the Suicide Lane Productions Battle of the Bands in 2001 and 2002.
